Lunch With Mine’

Looking to spice up Friday night dinner? Want to try something out of the box? If so, then Emo’s is a place to add on your list. Emo’s is a Korean restaurant located on Trowbridge and Harrison right next to Quality Dairy and the Greyhound station. They have Korean and Asian dishes starting at great prices. They are featured on if you’d prefer staying in, as they deliver. Their menu is online as well. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and rice dinner and I was not disappointed. They have great customer service and the food comes out in a timely manner. So mix up your dinner and try something new!

One place I will never get tired of is BD’s Mongolian Barbecue. Mongolian Barbecue is a self-serve, stir-fry restaurant. If you’re looking for a lot of bang for your buck, this is the place to be. They have a college night on Tuesdays that features unlimited stir-fry for $9.99 and many drink specials. This place is great for people of all ages as well as people with various food preferences. There are different types of meat, from beef, to duck, to shrimp. They also have vegetarian and vegan options, like tofu, and a full vegetable bar of toppings. All you have to do is grab a bowl, pick your noodles, meats and/or vegetables, and any blend of your favorite sauces. After this, take your creation to the cooks who prepare your food right in front of you. They have great enthusiasm and are very friendly. So if you want to have a quick lunch or a night out with friends, this is the place to go to!

Looking for something quick to eat to curb your hunger? Want to try something new but afraid to waste your money? Well Noodles & Company has you covered! Noodles & Company is a restaurant conveniently located on Grand River right across from The MSU Union. They have a wide range of flavors and dishes from Mediterranean to Asian to American. There’s also the option to mix and match your noodles with different meats. There’s chicken, beef, shrimp, and even tofu. This is one my favorite places to grab something to go or just dine-in and hang out with friends. My favorite dish is the Japanese Pan Noodles with shrimp. It’s very tasty and somewhat spicy. They also have some traditional items such as macaroni and cheese (which is really good) and spaghetti and meatballs. There are many flavorful dishes and they all are a very reasonable price. So if you’re thinking about trying something new, Noodles & Company is a great place to start!
