VOICE Magazine was created to become an outlet for the multi-cultural community here at Michigan State University. The idea was inspired by a group of students who created a magazine in 2006, once widely known as Purpose Magazine. As time progressed, Purpose Magazine was silenced and we believed that it was our responsibility to reconnect and find the VOICE that had gone unheard for so long. We decided to develop a magazine with the intent of entertaining, educating, and enlightening the multi-cultural community of Michigan State University while also giving our students a chance to be acknowledged in a positive way.
We are here to create an outlet for the voices of our community that may not have been uplifted in the past: Our issues, our music, our lifestyle, our consciousness. We are VOICE Magazine.
